CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is the largest ab initio flight school network in the world with 10 flight academies on five continents. We employ a worldwide fleet of about 300 aircraft and train about 1,800 pilot cadets per year. We currently have a vacancy based at London Oxford Airport, Kidlington:
We require JAR/EASA-Part FCL multi engine flight instructors to deliver advanced IR training, aircraft and FNPT, to cadets returning from the USA where they will have completed their basic training. Minimum requirements are 1,500 total flying hours with 1,000 instructional hours including 300 IF dual given.
Primary responsibilities will be as follows:
To instruct on flight training courses both at CAE OAA Oxford (and occasionally at other locations) - aircraft and FNPT - to minimum standards - as defined by the CFI
Meet instructional standards at each OPC - as defined by the CFI
To deliver mass briefings and relevant ground training to groups of student pilots as required
To maintain a high standard of student reports, assessments and records
To achieve a training productivity target
To deliver flight training courses flexibly to a planned schedule
To support the development of new and existing CAE OAA flight training materials
To provide pastoral care and counselling of student pilots
All new ME FI appointments must be approved by the Chief Flight Instructor - Single Pilot Aircraft and through a suitability assessment interview and test. Investment by CAE OAA Oxford in any formal instructor qualifications will be subject to a training bond. |
